WEBINARS:
Common Places People Make Mistakes in Ophthalmology:
Welcome! If you've landed on this page then please know there's no shame here - I used to hate ophthalmology (pre-certificate and referral days, obviously) and I did all of the things in these webinars too. But now I know better I want to help everyone else!
Work through these at your own pace - one a day, or all at once if you fancy!
WEBINAR ONE:
COMMON PLACES PEOPLE MAKE MISTAKES IN THE OPHTHALMOLOGY EXAM (AND HOW TO FIX THEM IN LESS THAN 60 SECONDS)

Common Mistakes in the Ophthalmology Exam
A little treat from me to you! :) The eye exam checklist guides you through a full ophthalmic exam, or if you don't have time it's split into surface and intraocular disease. It's not as overwhelming as it looks - promise - it just guides you as to what you should be thinking and testing for in certain situations.
Please note: it is only interactive on a desktop, but if you print it out it can be filled in during the consultation (might sound weird, but that's what us referral ophthalmologists do!)
WEBINAR TWO:
CHRONIC ULCERS - AND HOW WE'RE (INADVERTENTLY) MAKING THEM MORE CHRONIC...
Zero judgement - chronic ulcers are a faff and a bit of a mystery. There's a whole cool thing I've created to help you with diagnosing these (I'll talk more about that in the next webinar), but for now consider this mini-webinar an amuse bouche!
PS. Had I lost the plot by the time I recorded this? Yes. The video jumps in places because I had to cut out several terrible jokes, but looks l accidentally left one in and it's too late for me to edit it now. This is not clickbait, this is a formal apology. Don't judge me :)

WEBINAR THREE:
OPHTHALMIC EMERGENCIES: WHICH ONES COULD WE BE MISSING, AND WHICH ONES ARE CATFISHING US?
Once again, there is no shaming here - this webinar just serves as an example that things don't always look like the classic textbook pictures. If anything, I hope it serves as a good example as to why your boss needs to give in and buy you a tonometer if they haven't already!

Questions? Pop them in the box below (click the blue button and it should open up the box - weird system, I know). There's no such thing as a stupid question, but if you wish to remain anonymous you can put "blank".
